Household Textile Care
Bedding, linen, and curtains are larger than most clothing and often mix fibers, trims, and linings. This page is care information. It does not confirm collection, and it does not cover rugs or upholstery.
A sheet, a duvet cover, and a filled duvet are different objects. Curtains add length, heading tape, and sometimes a lining. Table linen may include embroidery. Copy the fiber and the wash or professional-cleaning instruction if a label is sewn in. Sun fade, mildew odor, and weak seams are worth mentioning, and mentioning them is not a promise that they can be corrected.
This page does not include pickup or rehanging. If you want to ask about a textile, contact Press & Polish at Eliodoro Yáñez 2331, Providencia, Santiago, on +56 2 3243 2291, or at [email protected]. Choose “Household textiles” on the form if you use the website instead.
What to check before you ask
Say whether it is a sheet, duvet cover, blanket, table linen, or curtain. Size and layers change the question.
Cotton, linen, wool, and synthetic fills do not share one cleaning method. Copy the label if you can.
Heading tape, linings, buttons, and embroidery can limit how a textile is handled.
Note stains, sun fading, mildew odor, or weak seams. Description is not a promise of correction.
Some household textiles say machine wash. Others point to professional cleaning. Quote the instruction you see.
Rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture are not described here as available services.
Textile groups on this site
| Group | Useful details | Limit of this page |
|---|---|---|
| Bedding | Sheet, duvet, or pillowcase; fiber; stains | Does not confirm that filled items are accepted |
| Linen | Table or bed linen, embroidery, starch preference as a question only | Does not promise a crisp finish |
| Curtains | Length, lining, heading, and whether they are still hung | Does not include pickup or rehanging |
Ask about a household textile
Choose “Household textiles” on the inquiry form and describe the item. A stored inquiry is not an accepted cleaning order.
Size, filling, and what to leave out
Household textiles are not large shirts. Filling, headings, and trims need their own description, and some items are outside this page.
A sheet and a duvet cover are mostly flat cloth. A duvet or a pillow with filling is a different object because the filling can clump, hold moisture, or carry a care instruction that the cover does not share. Say whether you are asking about the cover, the filled piece, or both. Curtains add length, heading tape, hooks, and sometimes a separate lining. Table linen may include embroidery or a decorative hem that should not be treated like a plain sheet.
Copy the fiber and the wash or professional-cleaning line if a label is sewn in. Sun fade, a mildew odor, a weak seam, and a previous stain treatment are worth mentioning. Mentioning them does not mean they can be reversed. Large textiles also take more handling. This website does not offer pickup, delivery, or rehanging, and it does not publish a service area.
Rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture are not part of these notes. Please do not describe a sofa or a fitted carpet as if it were a curtain. Leather and suede household pieces are the same kind of exception: name the material and do not assume a clothing method applies.
If you want to ask, contact Press & Polish at Eliodoro Yáñez 2331, Providencia, Santiago 7510277, on +56 2 3243 2291, or at [email protected]. On the form, choose “Household textiles” and include approximate size if you know it. Opening hours are not listed. A question is not a collection booking.
